Armenian Wedding

Natalie and Alex’s Real Wedding was shared with us by their wedding photographer Aram Event Photography from Miami. Here’s their story in Natalie’s own words: Alex and I traveled to Greece in the summer of 2017 with our family and in Oia, Santorini (saved the best island for the proposal) is where Alex popped the big question, we were walking around and exploring the island all day and as soon as the sun was setting, in front of our family and a huge crowd of people, as we were getting our pictures taken in front of such a magical sunset is where Alex got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Just thinking about it makes me smile because my reaction was the best. I looked at him and said, “are you joking????” It was such a special moment filled with so many emotions. Shortly after we got engaged, we started planning our wedding and right away I knew I wanted a December/winter wedding. I fell in love with the champagne, blush, and burgundy colors and that’s exactly what I went for. I wanted an elegance to it. All of the colors that were used were ones that I’ve always loved and envisioned them together was very easy to do so I knew that was it. As far as my dress, I knew I didn’t want to wear all white, I knew I wanted a ball gown, something that had a lot of detail but yet kept its simplicity which is what I found in my stunning ivory dress. I also wore a cathedral veil with it which really made my entire wedding look. My maid of honor wore blush and my bridesmaids wore biscotti, the mix of our colors was a great contrast.
